Pregnancy
If you think you might be pregnant, take a pregnancy test as soon as possible. It's best to wait until your period is at least 5 days late, to be sure the result will be accurate.
You can get a quick, free test from contraception clinics and youth advice services. Your doctor will do a test, but only a few practices do instant testing. It is a really good idea to have a test done by a professional service, so that you can get advice and support about what to do next.
If you want to go ahead with the pregnancy, it is important for you and your baby to get good health care and advice as soon as possible. Contact a community midwife via your GP.
If you decide pregnancy is not an option for you and you want a termination, contraception clinic doctors or a GP can arrange this.
If your test is negative, do make sure you get good contraceptive advice for the future.
